Thought : "Come Out of Your C.A.V.E. "

Intro: Jezebel threatened Elijah. He ran and requested to die. God sustained him. He Eventually, Wound up in a cave. God came and said, "What doest thou here Elijah"? He was commanded to come out and stand at the entrance. God put on a display of prophetic overtures. 

THE ILLUSTRATED SERMON
Fire, Wind, and an Earthquake. 

He wasn't in them. Soo, what was he saying? Or better yet, doing? Why this display of nature? I submit, God was preaching an illustrated sermon. 

Fire: Represented Elijah's fiery temperament. On Mt. Carmel, God was in the fire, on Mt. Sinai, He, was in the bush that burned with fire. He was in the tongues of fire in the upper room, but not, this fire! 

 Wind: Represented Elijah's "intensity and fervency of ministry". God was in E37, valley of dry bones Wind. Day of Pentecost, rushing, mighty, Wind, but not this wind. 

 Earthquake: Represented Elijah's 'mover and "shaker" mentality'. God was in the earthquake that swallowed up, Korah, Dathan, Abiram, 250 princes, and those who weren't on the Lord's side, in Moses day. He was in the earthquake that occurred the moment Jesus gave up the ghost, but He was not in this earthquake. 

CONTENTS:
Suddenly, there was a still, small, VOICE! God was in the whisper. No one, but Elijah, knows what God said. 

Note: It represented a dimension Elijah had not experienced. God was saying, I am God. 

Sometimes, it's not fiery worship, fervent praying or flame throwing preaching, but stillness of fullness . Full of God, but, devoid of self. 

Sometimes, it's not not the bombastic blast of a preacher's wind of eloquence of oratory that tells the story. 

Sometimes, it's not the shaking of the building or believer, that precipitates the making of a move of God. 

HEAR THIS...
Beloved of God, FELLOW PREACHER'S, Sometimes, "IT's simply relaxing, taking a chill pill and yielding to a divine dealing". It's knowing that, God already scoped the place where His people will come. He gave them the word. They obeyed what they heard. You just need to show up and watch God, SHOW OUT!!! 

CONCLUSION
The cave was:
C- cold, not comforting
A- animals not humans 
V- vision limited
E- enclosed, one way out

NOTE .
Life's caves are soo cold. We can either retreat in defeat, lose our feet, or declare , THIS, WILL TURN OUT SWEET . 
The caves surround us with creatures of discomfort , with an animalistic atmosphere they exude. We can see, but limited, because the walls of limitation hinder the peripheral view. 

We can only get out of our SELF IMPOSED CAVE, the way, that, we got in. 

Hear this:
YOU MUST COME OUT OF YOUR CAVE OF HURT, Pain and INHIBITION, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW GOD, LEARN YOURSELF AND CHANGE and become the new you. 

WORD : Never let Jezebel BLUFF YOU.

David went into a cave. It was called ADULLAM. 
It means, "A TESTIMONY". As you leave the cave, GOD WILL SCREAM YOUR VOICE, til favor locates you and GPS's your EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS END!!!!

Exceeding Expectation

Text: Roms. 4...being fully persuaded....he embraced the promises...

Subject: "No Excuse For Excuses!"

Intro: As an 18 year old Evangelist, I preached this subject in Toledo, Ohio. The principal character was Jeremiah. His excuse initially was that of being, "but a child". God informed him, that He knew before he was born. Knew him before he was formed. Called him and intended to use him to tear down and to build up, among other things. He was chosen. Jeremiah said yes and the devil couldn't say no. There was no excuse for excuses.

Moses met God at a "common bush with uncommon glory."
He was burned out. The bush burned on. God said go...he said, "woe". Excused himself, because of a stuttering problem. God said, "I will be your mouth"! Moses got it done, and when he was done, God took him home. No excuse for excuses. 

What's your excuse? Is it education? Fear of Rejection. Lack of money? Too many Challenges? Degree of Difficulty? Your advanced Age? Bankruptcy? Too little Time? Many have faced these "Impostors and Overcome! YOU WILL TOO!!! No excuse for excuses. 

EDUCATION
You've heard of Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Pres. Harry Truman, Stephen Spielberg, Michael Dell, legendary Anchorman Walter Cronkite, and media mogul Ted Turner. Not one of them graduated from college. No excuse for excuses. 

AGE
Most have eaten at KFC, founded by Colonel Sanders. He was 66 at the time. He was a Christian. I watched a youtube clip of him on TBN before he died the audience was spellbound by his story of rejection and perseverance. No excuse for excuses. 

DIFFICULTY
The ant carries 400 times it's own weight. Consider the ant...Solomon said. The bumblebee's body is too big to fly. Oops, he didn't get the "not possible memo". My friends, there's no excuse for excuses. EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!

CHALLENGING
To produce a lb. of honey, the Honeybee. visits 56,000 clover heads. Each head has 66 tubes. All total 3.3 million times for 1lb. That's about 3 times around the world if it were miles. For 1 tablespoon, it requires 4200 trips. Think of that the next time you add honey to your tea. No excuse for excuses. EXCEED EXPECTATIONS! 

FAILURE
A guy wanted to build cars. Went broke 5 times before he got the first one built. Henry Ford is gone. His cars are still here. He once said. "If you think you can't then, YOU CAN'T. Miracles come in Can's! No excuse for excuses. 

BANKRUPTCY
Walt Disney, was bankrupt 7 times before Mickey Mouse ever got a home at Disney World. He was a believer. s a child he drew flowers with smiles. Teacher scolded him, "Walt, flowers don't have faces"! He answered, "Mine do". At his theme parks today, all the flowers have smiles! In Florida, developers, saw a swamp, he saw a family vacation venue, and today, the world sees Disney World! No excuse for excuses.
EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!

In case, you think your best years are behind you, or that, you've failed than you succeeded, remember this....

Plato wrote "The Republic", 9 times before he finished. 

Cicero practiced his oratory for 30 years, before he became famed for it. 

Webster spent 36 years compiling words for his Dictionary, which still ranks, among the best of all time. 

Virgil took 7 years to write his classic. 

Michaelangelo, took 8 years to paint Sistine Chapel on his back, an inch a day. The financier asked, "When will you make an end of it"? He replied,"When I'm done with it"! 

Edison had 1000 failed experiments, before he caused a light bulb to shine. Friends asked, was he discouraged? He said, "No, now I know 1000 things that don't work"! 

NOTE:
He was called a genius. He humbly replied, "genius is one per cent inspiration, 99 per cent perspiration"! 

That'll preach. No excuse for excuses. 

EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!

Jesus did. He died. He cried. He sighed. Nailed to a tree, he created, between two common thieves, he became sin for us. Offered a sour painkiller. He spit it out. While dying, he was thirsty. He felt forsaken, and He asked God, Why? But, he never lied. BELOVED of God, "you can make it, if you try. Tell excuses goodbye. 

Jesus said "in three days, you will see me again. He took on our sin. Theologians call it "propitiation". They buried him in a borrowed tomb. The earth became a womb. 72 hours later. He walked through a wall and into a room. He got up, saying, "ALL POWER.... Go ye. Go is 2/3rd's of God. 

Go into the Upper Room, not the Supper Room. Wait til you get power for your finest hour, so that with God, you will: 
EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!!!

Let The Church Say...

LET THE CHURCH SAY, "Even So, Come, Lord Jesus".

 

I see a “Move” of God coming that will be second-to-none.

In this move, the Ministers will be the first to be delivered. They will take off and lay down their masks. They will unsheathe their swords, never to be used on their fellow preachers again. They will open their hearts to worship as David of old. Their vestments will be removed. Their titles will not be spoken of. They will sit and sing among the people, and they will worship as the 24 Elders.

 

No longer will they be comically caricatured as pimps, potentates or players (read: “playahs”), but as priests, patriarchs and pioneers. They will show more emotion while another is speaking than when they are. Jealousy, pettiness, idiosyncrasies, peeves, emulation and competition will not be named among them.

 

Regardless of doctrinal differences, they will not be disconnected from their brothers’ struggles or sisters’private pain. Churches will overflow again without control,browbeating, or manipulative tactics of insecurity guised as concern.

 

The gimmickry of "crowd gathering” will be discarded. God will magnetically draw from unseen places and the remotest parts. Facilities will be shared. Space rented to other ministries as if in a mall. Multiple services being held in one location by different ministries. Start-up churches will be sponsored as if a new baby was born into the family. Pastors will slip into another service before going to their own to receive inspiration and will give generously to help others.

 

They will trade in their thousand dollar suits for less expensive ones and give the difference to domestic and foreign missions. They will trust their hearts and tell their stories with precision and without pretense.

 

Elders will be ordained from the youth and the young will return to the fathers. The old will weep while realizing that this is day they saw in their vision, before their strength grew small.

 

THIS IS THE GLORIOUS CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE. I see this in an "open vision". Can you believe God and say, in agreement, "EVEN SO, COME, LORD JESUS!”

"SATAN WANTS YOUR COAT!"

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM GOD FOR YOU 

...When we say, "God is good all the time, it means, ALWAYS!" I retired at 10 last night. Weary from a travel day and dealing with the remnant of a cold. 

I awakened at 3am. In restless mode, I watched youtube videos of Nelson Mandela's memorial service. Got dressed, preparing to attend a "Leaders' Summit". 

Got in my car. Noticed, that, my compartments were opened, my papers were all over the seats, etc. My car was vandalized. My dress coat, was gone. It was the only thing stolen. Anyway, I began to praise. Several reasons. 

Whoever stole my stuff, reminded me of two scriptures. 

1)..."they took joyfully, the spoiling of their goods."
2)..."the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy...."

NOTE: A wise saint, who was once was stolen from, was fuel for my praise party. He wrote that when he was stolen from, He gave God thanks,

A. That, his life was spared.
B. That, all they got was stuff that can be replaced.
C. That, he was the one, stolen from, and not the pitiful one, who, was the thief.

Amen to that. St. Paul said, to "give thanks, "in", all things... Note: Not, FOR, all things, but, IN, all things. So, join me in thanking God, because, it is a prophetic thing.

You may wonder, why I say that. Well, because, it's a sign of a, 7-fold return is coming. 

TESTIMONY AND HOW THIS APPLIES TO YOU. 
Years ago, I was en route to see Kim Clement, 3 hrs away. A car rammed me from behind, as I waited at a light. 

I started not to continue but to return home. However, I proceeded on. Got to the church. 3 hrs later. Sat way

in the back. The Prophet recognized me, called me out and said, "Brian Keith Williams, you have no business back there, come to the front row.." 

He asked me to have words and receive the evening offering. I did as requested. I sowed a 980 dollar seed. You see, beloved of God , "I drove all that way, not to hear him speak, bit to sow a seed. "

He Prophesied to me saying, "JUST BEFORE YOU CAME HERE TONIGHT, SOMETHING HAPPENED. GOD SAYS, THE EXACT OPPOSITE WILL HAPPEN IN THIS NEXT SEASON!!! I knew God was saying, "for all the times, I had been hit in the back while I waited for life's signal to change, he would have my back.". 

Within weeks and months, doors flew open and i preached in the largest conferences in America and overseas. 

PLEASE REMEMBER: 
It started with a seed and a hit from behind. 

KNOW THIS: For every hit, for every theft, for every SEED, God will PAY YOU LIKE NO ONE CAN. Praise Him now. 
This morning, 

I'm en route to see Bishop TD Jakes. and I get vandalized. SURELY, I HAVE THE VICTORY. Surely, you can identify.

LESSON: 
I pray that my coat, keeps them warm. 

It contains virtue, like the "coat of many colors, the hem of Jesus garment, or the hanker chiefs, taken from Paul's body." Who knows, the "conviction" may be soo great, they bring it back, and with a "confession". 

I started my car, put all my papers back in the compartments. Then, I heard a song from my youth of 40 years ago..."No, never alone, no never alone, he promised never to leave me. Never, to leave me, alone." 

I blessed in God's presence. He is with me. 

HEAR THIS !!!
Here's the moral for my morale. I accidentally, left the door unlocked. That's how the "thief got it!" I hear the Holy Ghost now. 

"Tell the saints, LOCK THE DOORS!" Life and fb is fun. Good fellowship. But, loaded with hazards. The thief comes to steal your "coat of praise, and your covering for the cold, even when, you're battling a cold!" 

Soo, LOCK THE DOORS OF YOUR HEART. Secure your valuables and when the thief comes, even, if he gets a little something, it is nothing TO HOW GOD IS GOING TO HOOK YOU UP TODAY!!!

Somebody. Bless the Lord. You are NOT ALONE!"

Facebook Land-Mines

Recently, I posted on MINISTRY LAND-MINES. 

This concerns face book. 

FIVE FB LAND-MINES

First: RE-CONNECTS- FB's greatest asset is also it's greatest liability. Some people from the past need to stay there. Beware, that the enemy will try to sow seeds of confusion with people who once caused you problems. When Jacob left Laban he didn't look back. You shouldn't always renew a friendship. It may be a snare. Pray and wait on peace. Don't re-friend w/o it. If they go awry etc...then, unfriend and block on fb and if you've exchanged numbers, on your phone as well. Malediction means to separate. It's opposite is Benediction. , which means to speak good. When Jacob and Laban separated, they said: "The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent one from the other".
This was a malediction. In other words, YOU stay over there and I will stay over here. Re-connects can be a FB land-mine. 

Second: ADDICTION- The root of the word is "dictate(or)." Compulsion means to compel.
To be transfixed by fb means you need to be fixed. Daily Habits become demonic habitations. When you're on FB before you pray you're addicted. Other signs are, throughout day, .....you are spying on people's posts and who likes or comments; ....you can't engage in communication with the person you're with, for constantly glancing at FB; ....you make excuses to get away or have someone to go away so that you can post, respond to comments or check other posts....when you can't get much else done you are addicted. I recommend you coming off for a season and focusing on the things of God and stop considering FB your pulpit or megaphone. Addiction is a FB land-mine.

Third: COUNSELING- People are going through trying times. They need help. Sometimes, they be a virtue parasite and drain you. If you post a lot and it's apparent that the wisdom of God is upon you, they will often reach out for legitimate help. However, often times, your "sweetness becomes their weakness." They will vicariously transfer their emotional needs to you. In your identificational intercession there is great potential to be allured and ultimately beguiled. 
Be prayerful about who you respond to, because listening to their problems could open you to entrust yours to their confidence. Then, something well intentioned can quickly become tainted and ungodly. Counseling is a FB land-mine. 

Fourth: ARGUMENTS- Some people are drama magnets. Wherever they go, they attract or stir it up. You should unfriend them immediately. In my estimation. The purpose of being someone's FB friend is to edify, not blast, challenge, one up...them, or prove you're smarter. If you disagree, do it respectfully. Not with touches' all the time. "Whenever someone wins an argument, that means someone had to lose it!" Ideally, in human relations, You want a win-win. Most people on FB, including very intelligent ones are very defensive, combative and combustive if "they feel they are being made to look stupid." 
You should "Never go to war where there are no spoils!" Don't be STUPID enough to challenge someone on their post with personal attacks etc... Because they just might whoop your contentious behind. And their followers will stomp you line "rock em sock em robots." Before you attempt to comment on someone's post make sure you've read it and don't hi-jack the thread by drawing "attention away from the one who posted." You might ask, "whose rules are these?" There the RULES OF DIPLOMACY. Show yourself friendly, as scripture says. Arguments are a FB land-mine. 

Fifth: STALKERS, HITCH HIKERS, HI-JACKERS, FAKE FRIENDS, NON FOLLOWING FOLLOWERS, INCESSANT TAGGERS, NAME DROPPERS, SHARKS, INFAMOUS 
IN-BOXERS
1. stalkers- they obsessively, watch your every post, people's response to your posts, your likes and comments of others. 
2. Hitch hikers- they have very little to say, so they ride the posts of others daily. 
3. Hi jacker- they take over your post as if it's their own. . Will even share and try to control from their line. 
4. Fake friends- they request friendship to spy and report. They check out who likes or follows you. Pastors do this with members vice versa. Relationships are sometimes killed by this. Sometimes, however, wrong is uncovered by this. 
5. Un Following followers- They follow your words, not you. They steal material. Save it. Re-post it. Re-word it. Claim it as theirs. Even preach it w/o acknowledging it's source. 
6. Incessant Taggers- being tagged is sometimes good. It serves its purpose . But, being tagged means every time someone comments it pops up on your screen. They know that. They either don't care or want you to see what they are doing. I would strongly suggest a person be a good FB friend before you tag them and with consideration. 
7. Name Droppers. They cite your name in a post to draw your followers to them. Sometimes, its random and you go, "what the what". They don't even know you, but drop your name. 
8. Sharks. They ride your post, looking for fresh blood. Then, they Seek to be-friend them. Using your name as a friend of yours. Then, they, "Come on to them and act like they're soo close to you. Sharks have multiple women on FB thinking their the one. They are cheaters.
9. Infamous In boxers- the inbox serves a very valuable purpose for privacy, respectability etc...But some inbox to much...they wake you with inboxes. Regularly, inbox you. That's how mess gets started. Be careful. Ask them to not inbox if you can tell their motives and your desire do not match. 

Face book is a blessing, but also a lot of land-mines. Walk in wisdom. "Be wise as a serpent, but, gentle as a dove."
